You know I shouldn't complain. I've had two days out where I always liked being. the woods. I don't get to do this as often as I used to so I'd better enjoy it.....right, you bet..
Toward noon on the second day I thought I would go way down in where I've always had luck in the past years. I haven't been down in this area for about a year or so. HOLY SMOKES Roads cut all over the place, oil wells every where. Every thing just all torn up. I guess I not real big on change.
I live on top of a mountain, where things have been the same for years. Lots of hardwood, streams and a field here and there. If it isn't being posted, it's being torn up.
All this beautiful scenery with streams like this one, kind of makes me hungry for brook trout frying in a pan with a little salt and pepper and maybe some homemade bread.
As long as I'm discussing eating here is a simply little recipe for your venison chops or steaks. Take a gallon zip lock bag put your meat in with some Italian dressing and maybe some pepper or pepper corns. For a little bite Frank's hot sauce works great. Place it in the refrigerator for a day or two, turn the bag over a few times.
Then it's time to fire up the grille. My whole family just loves it....

Nice pictures.... Have a Great Day!
